Intelligent Diagnosis of Heart Disease for Sailors using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference Systems

چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective:
Smart diagnosis and data mining as a technique for identifying and diagnosing diseases and categorizing patients in disease management and finding patterns for faster disease diagnosis without the presence of a specialist doctor and preventing the occurrence of disease complications can be a great help. Sailors are sometimes at sea for months and do not have the possibility to use a specialist doctor. In dangerous diseases such as heart disease, there should be a system that can intelligently diagnose the disease using the patient's history and inform the extent of its deterioration for early treatment. The medical community is also looking for programs for further investigation, prevention, early detection and effective treatment of diseases. Therefore, valuable knowledge can be created by using intelligent systems, data mining and knowledge discovery in cardiovascular centers. This discovered knowledge can be used to diagnose and predict the behavior of cardiovascular patients based on the given history.
Materials and Methods:
In this paper, a smart and optimal method for diagnosing and predicting cardiovascular diseases based on adaptive fuzzy neural inference network is proposed. In the proposed method, first the effective features are extracted and then they are provided to the network for identification.
Findings:
The proposed method uses a case database related to patients' information and will be evaluated with accuracy, correctness and recovery criteria. The proposed method is compared with SVM and neural network methods.
Conclusion:
It can be seen that the proposed method performs the diagnosis better. SVM also performs better diagnosis in the next category, and the MLP neural network performed worse than other methods.
