چکیده مقاله:
Background: Studies of health care provided during disasters and emergencies have shown that these teams can speed patient recovery, coordinate behaviors during aid, complete information, reduce clinical error rates, and manage and Simplify care delivery. The important thing is that these achievements are achieved through the proper organization of team members and their effective training. However, research on the unique needs of Navy military teams has yet to be explored. In particular, we need to know: (1) what evidence is currently available about healthcare teams in the Navy? Moreover (2) based on existing studies, what gaps exist and how can these gaps be addressed in the field of marine health care team building?
Methods: A scoping review of the literature was conducted to identify the extent of knowledge currently available about military healthcare teams. The search was performed in PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Scopus, and Gray Literature databases without date restrictions. The search terms were (team* or group or organization) (military or army or navy or submarine or marines) and (health or medical or "medical emergency" or "health services" or "clinical care"). Of the 452 articles identified through the initial search, only 12 articles met the inclusion criteria (i.e. included military personnel, included teams that were medically focused, included at least two professional disciplines, and included at least two individuals).
Result: Out of 12 articles, there were two original research articles, five descriptive articles, four interpretative articles, and one annual report. The analysis of the texts revealed four themes, including effective communication (4 sub-themes), high-specialized knowledge (3 sub-themes), understanding of the joint role (2 sub-themes), and coordination between team members (2 sub-themes) as the main themes. In addition, the composition and balance of the team were mentioned a lot in the studies. For example, in one of the studies, special attention should be paid to the experience of team members and doctors so that they can play an effective role in maritime disasters and emergencies.
Conclusion: According to the results of the study, it is clear that the presence of a professional team during disasters and emergencies can have a high effect on the speed of providing aid to the injured and reducing the death rate in mass marine accidents. Therefore, it is suggested to carry out more studies in this area so that the prerequisites related to the formation of these teams in the Navy can be identified.
